favorite fanfic trope?

“IIIII don’t actually do a lot of fanfic reading, if I’m honest. Think that was more Lewis’s thing, and maybe Vivi’s. I have read a couple though. My favorite trope is probably when they do medieval versions? I always thought that stuff was super cool growing up, so I liked reading some of it. And if that isn’t really a trope….uh….. sharing the bed? But like when they do it with a friend. I’m not a big romance guy so I don’t really read the stories that get too into that stuff. But yeah. There’s something really nice about being that close to someone and– you know. Feeling safe. And then there’s like —finding the people who mean something to you and being able to exist in the same space. One of the best things is getting to read about characters enjoying each others’ company and getting some growth together and all that jazz.”

It had been a few weeks of helping Onyx and he shop had become a research ground and not just for her brother anymore - not that he minded though. She was different and she was passionate and that meant a lot to Elijah, it was something he noticed right away. He hair was in a bun, out of her face and he casually reached over to move a strand behind her ear, “I like your hair like this.” His eyes on her, taking in the details of her face he was sure he missed with her hair down.

24.  What is one scene you want to see happen for all your ships?

You know the one.  Every ship needs an admittance of feelings.  Not a confession, because they might already be together.

It’s the scene where one cups the other’s cheek and pours their heart out, followed by the other leaning into the touch, maybe kissing their palm or moving forward to touch their foreheads together.  This is the truest love and the sweetest thing and every ship deserves to have this kind of closeness!!

Poems or love letters?

“That depends on if I’m making them or receiving them. I think making, I couldn’t make a romantic poem to save my life. Maybe a dumb little rhyme like the roses are red spiel. But I’d be better at just like- being honest on paper.... maybe. Dunno. Haven’t tried it, but I think so.

“If I was receiving one or the other.....mmmm, I think they’re about even instead? Like-- I haven’t ever gotten either but both could be good or bad. I don’t read poetry all that well with the flow, but I feel like an earnest letter would hit me a lot harder, if that makes sense.”
