Gosh. Where do I even begin? Sorry I’ve been MIA. I’ve been lurking on IG here and there though, making sure I like all your posts. I just didn’t have the mental capacity to post. We recently finished a house renovation, then hosted my family’s visit from California in the mountains (we live in Colorado), and then my son started walking. These few weeks have been nuts. I’m so done with contractors and people. 😂 I just want to sit here in my bedroom in silence. This is my current view. Sometimes planning stresses me out. When it does, I take a much needed break. Consistently having a structured plan makes me feel like I’m losing my creativity and spontaneity. I shouldn’t be stressed out because a contractor cancels his appointment, but here I am making adjustments to my stupid planner. Oh look, it’s snowing again so I have to cancel my outing with my son and these daycare tours. Fuck these plans. Fuck these expectations. In the end, nobody else gives a shit and I’m the only person stressed out about it. Meanwhile, there are people dying on this planet while I’m over here tending to my planner crisis. 😅 Anyhow, thanks for listening to my meltdown.
