This interesting costume, layered with all kinds of colorful trims, was designed by Ellen Mirojnick to intentionally look garish, as it was worn by Veanne Cox as Calliope – one of Cinderella’s “Ugly” stepsisters – in the 1997 adaptation of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s 𝑪𝒊𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒂.   The costume was seen again the very next year in a Disney Channel promotional for their 1998 made-for-television movie 𝑯𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒐𝒘𝒆𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒐𝒘𝒏.   Learn more at Bit.ly/SciFiFan063
