I remember every soldier that's been lost under my command. I remember their families' faces when I showed up on their doorstep with a folded flag of their home country and their dog tags on top. I remember their faces when I tell them that they died heroically and that their sacrifice wasn't in vain. I remember their faces when I tell them the stories I have of the chaos they caused in the bunkhouse, their favorite songs they sang during PT and the times I've had to put them on fire watch for some sort of prank that they pull like clockwork.
I may be self-absorbed. I may fuck up daily. However, the difference between myself and you is the fact when I do fuck up, people's lives are on the line, and I'm the one that has to bring that news to their families. So unless you've done this yourself, been at the helm, and watched people suffer, die, or get disabled directly because of your actions, then you can't properly judge me or how I run my team.
If I'm as horrible as you say, and truly only care for money, fame, and glory, then I'm in the wrong damn industry. It would be easier going to Hollywood and being a snob and actually hoarding my wealth than being a goddamn PMC Commander.
