Legacy vampires can only be killed by someone who loves them, or someone they love, which is why Juliette asked if her heart was safe with Calliope (saw your tags and i completely agree) Cal couldnt kill her at first because at that point it was still just a crush for Juliette, and not really anythung for Cal

Now imagine a fic where Calliope hunts down Juliette after the finale and stakes her without knowing this and Juliette actually dies :)
