Douglass Wellness 360°
Attending the Douglass Wellness 360° event was both informative and relaxing. At first, I didn’t want to go since I had class on Friday and just wanted to go home. However, attending the event and participating in the breakout session specific the Zumba session was a great experience. After having a packed week with assignments and papers due, spending my Friday afternoon with some friends and random people just having fun was worth it. In addition, the facilitators from H.O.P.E who conducted the Eat Right Feel Good workshop were very motivational and helped me have a more positive approach towards eating healthy. Being on a healthy diet is quite difficult and you are always tempted to eat something unhealthy but if you take it step by step and think of creative ways to eat healthy without having to sacrifice what you like you can do it. Also watching the portions in which you consume food can play a huge role in a healthy weight loss.
