"What? Like that's ever been up for debate?" She scoffs as she crosses her arms over her chest. There is no argument where he's concerned. Tommy has always done what he wants at the cost of whoever because he always digs himself into situations where he has to save his own ass in the end. That's nothing new. In fact, from what she can tell, that's how he's always been.
Isabelle has never been known to be drawn to men who aren't like him. He's her type. Dangerous, perhaps a little stupid due to ambition and his view of himself... But for the most part, he's clever and definitely ruthless regarding threats.
"Honestly, has it ever occurred to you that if you're the problem, Tommy, you should maybe stop being the problem?" The brunette raises an eyebrow, "Perhaps instead of running away you could work on not bringing conflict into every personal relationship you have with someone. Perhaps you could shove your pride and ambition aside so you don't risk people close to you."
For every argument of his, she has one of her own. Just as stubborn as he is, so is she. And she refuses to let things between them go sideways because he's gotten tangled up in his own antics and head.
"Do you ever think, maybe if you actually tried to maintain something good, you could keep it for once?" She knows what it's like to be her own enemy. To be the worst enemy possibly. She knows how much she gets in her own way. She's been working on it this past year or so in the hopes that she can hold onto what they have.
"So stay so I can stop bitching at you about how dumb you are when it comes to you getting in your own way. Fucks sake, Tommy, don't you ever get tired of running?"
