On this vegetarian pizza, caramelized onions and roasted squash go well together because they are both sweet and savory. There is a burst of flavor in every bite thanks to the creamy goat cheese and fragrant basil.
Ingredients: 1 pizza dough. 1/2 cup caramelized onions. 1 cup roasted squash, diced. 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese. 1/4 cup crumbled goat cheese. 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, torn. 2 tablespoons olive oil. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Set your oven to 475F 245C before you start cooking. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough to the thickness you want. Place the dough on a pizza stone or baking sheet after it has been rolled out. Spread the olive oil out over the dough, leaving a little space around the edges for the crust. Cover the oiled dough with the caramelized onions. Spread the roasted squash out evenly on top of the onions. Add the mozzarella cheese shreds to the squash and onions. Put goat cheese that has been broken up on top of the mozzarella. Add a little salt and pepper to taste to the pizza. It should be baked in a hot oven for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly and a little browned. Take the pizza out of the oven and give it a minute to cool down. Add torn fresh basil leaves to the hot pizza. Cut your tasty Caramelized Onions and Squash Pizza into slices and serve them.
