Happy STS! How do your characters fare in a survival setting? (lost in the woods/stuck on a deserted island/etc) Who is immediately suggesting cannibalism? Who's adamant that they’re all gonna make it? Who takes this as a chance to become a ‘wild person’ and wear mud facepaint and no clothes?
Thanks so much for the ask! 💕
The entire MTWNK cast is quite capable of surviving in a setting like that, since they're all experienced adventurers with all the relevant skills + half of them have magic. However, most of them would be incredibly dramatic about that.
Vezee would absolutely jump straight to suggesting cannibalism, as in, "So does anyone remember how long a person can go without food? It's just that I'd like to know how long we have left in each other's company before we start eating each other. By the way, I suggest we eat Rinouk first, maybe even before the hunger pangs set in, because no offense, but they're annoying and boring—what do you mean I'm the only one who thinks so? Well, who do you suggest we eat first when it comes to it?! We need a contingency plan!"
Dagatha and Kastur would both do their best to remain the only sane people and point out all the increasingly obvious ways that can lead them out of this mess. The combination of their ideas and others' execution of those ideas, though, would... definitely increase everybody's stay on that deserted island. (I'm sure they won't have to resort to cannibalism regardless, but Vezee will bring it up at least ten more times :D)
The one most likely to wear mud facepaint and no clothes is probably Bariq, on a dare from Vezee, when she convinces him that this is a great way to capture Vel's attention.
Oh, and if Sufien happens to be there with them, then it's probably his fault they're on the deserted island in the first place. He's probably orchestrated the entire situation to observe the party in a difficult situation when they have to tolerate each other's presence more than usual, and to draw some extra wedges between them all. He's got this entire villainous plan and all, I'm sure. I'm also sure he'll keep getting distracted from it by flirting with Vel and keeping him away from Bariq's mud-painted abs.
Also, Rinouk would correctly discern every detail of Sufien's nefarious plan, but no one but Kastur would take them seriously, and Kastur would be like, "Oh, that's interesting. Why not let the events run their course and observe, we'll learn more about his intentions that way."
Oh, and Dagatha would be able to get them out of this pickle absolutely at any moment by making peace with her deity, but she's busy sulking at the deity, so deserted island it is.
...Okay, now I want to stick them on a deserted island canonically.
