im desperately trying to find some lab thats local that will take me on as a non attending student (i go to online uni and i need the experience irl, but theres an issue with people taking non attending students) and i have a small bit of hope now that i may get adopted by a venomics lab where the guy did his dissertation and research on snake venom

i expressed my interest in studying coral snake and orb weaver neurotoxins, and he said that hes moved away from snakes for the most part to facilitate working with students, and he mostly does tarantula and scorpion venom now, which is an issue because im scared of handling inverts, by hey at least i can study venoms like i wanted to, even if for a short time
