It’s been a rough couple of weeks. However, that didn’t stop Amara from conducting business as usual. Now she was having some me-time, going between hard liquor to the most expensive bottle of wine that she could order to pass the time. People watching was one thing, but food picking was another as she was surveilling who could be her next meal. It wasn’t until she picked up on a familiar scent that Amara averted her gaze onto the Vera Elwyn.
“Shouldn’t you be pumping milk for your babies or something?” Downing her whiskey in one go, she slid the glass and signaled the bartender for another, before facing Vera completely. “You look good though...for someone who popped twins. Anyways, missed me?” She then leaned in and gave a playful wink, “It’s your lucky day today, cause I’m all yours.” There was no use in talking about Inner Sanctum as she was no longer at her level. Besides, work was the last thing she wanted on her mind after what she’d gone through. The thought of her attempted assassination made her blood boil as she roughly took the glass from the bartender. “If you walk away, then that’s when I know you’ve hit a total rock bottom Elwyn. Tch, and people say I’m a grandma.”
