Since he lacked all his usual amenities, Crow quickly learned that he was going to have to leave his small townhouse occasionally. His lack of internet access was actually going to drive him to insanity, so he was trying to find something else to do with his time. Without his friends to annoy, the next best thing was working on some new Captain Ginger comics.
The problem was he had no art supplies; he had thankfully rationed the little dust he was given and thought he probably had enough to buy some supplies at a hobby shop. Hopefully. He didn’t completely understand the economy yet, but he was pretty sure he could -- at minimum -- get a sketchbook and some nice pencils.
So here he was -- at Mermaid Cove Mall -- praying that there was a cheap hobby shop located within. At least, that’s where he assumed he would find a hobby shop. The last thing he wanted was to pay premium prices at some bougie store in one of the many boutiques he had passed on his way here.
As he stared at the map that listed all the named of the shops, he quickly ran into a new problem. He had no idea what the name of the arts supplies store in this weird place was; at this realization he began to panic -- just a tiny bit. Oof, he needed an emotional support Mozu right now.
Crow looked around until he saw a non-threatening teenager nearby; the last thing he wanted was to be ridiculed by people younger than him. He carefully approached him and gave him an unconvincing smile.
“Do you know the name of the art supplies store in this mall? Half the names are puns that I don’t even get, aha.”
