Shakespeare girlies know Verges, the dummy helping the dummy (aka Dogberry.)

But Shakespeare girlies do not understand the feeling of me getting Verges in my school play.

Procession done on Thursday of the Holy Week in Verges (Comarques Gironines, Catalonia). Its most famous moment is the dansa de la mort (“death dance”).

In the Middle Ages, this dance was done all around Europe, but people eventually stopped doing it throughout the centuries. In other towns of this area of Catalonia, the dance survived until the 1930s, but was also abandoned. Verges is the only town where this tradition has survived since the 14th century until nowadays.

Ranking of Much Ado About Nothing Characters

Friar Francis: so helpful wow other Friars should take note

Verges and George Seacole: are actually helpful and good people

Dogberry: tries his darndest though he isn’t the best leader of the group

Hero: sweet and young but forgives Claudio too fast

Benedick: not actually a terrible person, says some not so nice things but ends up rather helpful in the end

Margaret and Ursula: okay I guess, I mean Margaret did advance the accusations against Hero but she didn’t know what was happening so I forgive her

Antonio: good and helpful brother to Leonato, that’s really it

Beatrice: strong and awesome but like why did she want Claudio dead that’s a bit extreme besides she already knew Hero wasn’t actually dead

Don Pedro: loyal wingman, awesome boss, pretty much goes along with everything anyone says, no critical thinking skills

Don John: not really sure what his whole plot was but 10/10 for execution

Claudio: dude trust your fiance its not that hard

Leonato: such a hypocrit, says he loves his daughter so much but wanted her to die when he thought Claudio’s accusations were real and didn’t so much as listen to the person they were about (aka Hero) when she refused them and didn’t ask if it was true at all, worst dad ever
