Boy, was that guy not normal. And not in a run of the mill probably either a wacko otaku or a secret serial killer ‘not normal’ kinda way. Not normal in the way she wasn’t normal. She could feel it, almost see it in the air the way she could sorta see those monsters’ power sometimes. But here he was in the diner, so...welp!

Volunteering herself without asking, she straightens her shoulders and walks over, pulling out her little notepad. “Hi! Welcome!” She says, putting on her customer service voice. “Can I get you anything to drink?”

The last...Gott, he’s not even sure how long it’s been. It’s been too long. Since they lost the War, since their King, their Father died. Since he betrayed them, stole their Shrifts and left them all for dead. It’s been hard. He’s hidden out in the living realm, among humans -- he’s glad he knows passable Japanese, in this little city (Naruki?) -- and trying to get by. There’s not much he can do, honestly, being blind and suffering from the loss of much of his powers. He’s managed to get a job behind the register of a coffee shop/bakery, which is nice...the owner actually likes him, too. It’s a struggle, but it’s almost okay.

He’s heading home one night when a familiar reiatsu slams into him like a sack of bricks, and he runs towards it, reaching out and grabbing the man’s shirt -- touch lets him See, and he swallows a sob. “Askin!”

♧ Any part of their canon portrayal you dislike?

YOU MEAN BESIDES HIS CONSTANT ‘lol bye for like 20 chapters’ DISAPPEARING??? coughs. I dunno. I just want more of him, more flashbacks and characterization beyond MUST FIGHT KUROSAKI. There’s more to him than that Kubo pls.

✍ Has new canon material ever forced you to adjust your headcanons?

HAHAHAH NOPE. Like literally I’ve headcanon’d for years now that Nnoitra left a scar? And OH LOOK HE HAS ONE. Nothing so far has made me need to adjust yet, but we’ll see.

8: Who was your muse's first crush?

The first person, unsurprisingly, that Guy developed any real feelings for was Luke. While another might have caught his eye from time to time, he never allowed himself much room to grow close to those around him. Luke was also the person that changed all of that.

14: What is your muse's deadly sin?

Probably envy. While he’s very happy with his life, most of his time growing up was spent wishing for things that he didn’t and couldn’t have. His wealth didn’t give him a great ego or turn him selfish and spoiled, but it did make him rather materialistic. He likes very nice things, and he easily envies those that have such things.

17: How does your muse deal with their anger?

Much better than he used to! These days, meditation and time spent outdoors/away from civilization help Guy to keep the calm demeanor he’s known for. If he’s ever unable to control his anger, though, he could resort back to his older methods of expressing it-- mostly by breaking things.18: How does your muse feel about religion?

Moderation is key. He thinks believing in something can help people when they have little else going for them, but taking things to the extreme like the Order of Lorelei did with the Score was beyond unhealthy. Cults kind of scare him.
