Inheritance/Dragon Rider AU

So, elaborating on my Inheritance/Dragon Rider AU (bc it’s totally my favorite AU with these two kasdhsakhf)

Dragons are beings with a strong connection to the Force. While most roam free and did not commonly associate with the civilizations of other races, a significant number were the mounts and lifelong companions of the Jedi Dragon Riders.

The Dragons formed an alliance with the Jedi Order, forming the order of Jedi Dragon Riders. A dragon bonds with their respective Jedi through the Force and the Jedi can use their magic connection as a power source. Every Jedi has their own dragon companion for life.

The Jedi also have their particular weapon, called a lightsword. Lightswords are powered by Kyber Crystals, magic crystals that have great ties to the dragon’s magic. They are imbued into the lightswords’s handle and give it their magical glow and power.

A bond between dragon and rider is strong, though if one dies, the other will still survive, but the death of their companion will leave their soul scarred forever. Dragons and riders who lost a partner can still bond with a new one, but it takes a long time before they are ready to take this burden once more.

Headcanon time: December 3rd

Hi my name is Luna and I'm here for the feels and headcanons on this special day

Naoto took Nanako's health drop and her failing to save her personally because she tried to reason with Namatame: at that moment her only thought was that she was too late and that if she'd been faster she would've made it

At the moment she snaps and is enraged her emotions do an u-turn from being saddened to blind rage and her only thought is that he doesn't get it, the filter is all gone. This scene from the anime is how Naoto acted in that situation.

After calming down she cannot believe she said about being ready to kill Namatame and doing basically the same as he had (in exchange for a life his life would be given -logic), and starts doubting her own moral sense & if she's a good person at all. Especially the line "Don't cry. It's pathetic." will be repeated in her head several times.

She isn't ready to approach the hospital in two to three days due to her mood being low and self-doubt high and she calms fully down after talking the whole situation out with the IT members she's closest to. She's able to be calm and professional when the team interrogates Namatame but she's all the time convinced that he might be intimidated by her presence.

Regarding this headcanon on Mementos, the most irritating ad to Naoto will always be the Junes jingle and most heard bits. Especially in P5 AU Junes jingle irks her because a) Not this shit again & b) Why does this entity have this downside (and her first reaction is conflicting because she's been actively avoiding any resemblance of her past despite she longs for those days and her mind just goes "dear God why, why do these emotions exist")

P5 AU verse detail: Akira’s imprisonment season and how she’s doing her best to shorten the sentence

In my P5 AU verse when Akira/Ren/P5-kun gets in trouble and the squad needs evidence on his innocence Naoto always pitches in. She either hears about this from the news or from the PT members directly and that they needed solid evidence for the crimes Shido had committed during his career and a possible way to erase/shorten the sentence Akira had.

And to her luck or misfortune as she’d put it, she has material. She has kept the files for the dirty laundry for the sake of her returning to them and redoing the work and most importantly she is also a victim of mental abuse and blackmail and could testify against Shido if she wished to do so. 

Naoto usually hands down the few files she has kept for Sae to use first and is reluctant to talk about her experiences. It’s something she can’t think of doing at first for a various set of personal reasons. Only after she has a support of her best friend Rise and/or IT members & understanding from the Thieves she agrees with it and plans with Sae a meeting with two conditions. a) it’s an anonymous confession from a person with genuine experience b) her location nor other specific details are revealed to the culprit or public in case someone might haunt her after this. She’d bring every piece of evidence such as the written contract copy she received and some files and notes she had (as in she knew who it really was but couldn’t tell)

She treats the admission she had as the start to her recovery and has a realization how she didn’t die on spot or get massive anxiety afterwards, and the best decision she made on that whole year at Tokyo. By rebelling and doing against her mind and assumptions she defeated her worst enemy and saved a life by doing that, and wants to help others do the same.

Headcanon dump: Naoto’s scooter

P3 AU!Naoto

She’ll probably buy one when she has to distance work which is after graduating Gekkoukan High. During the events of P4 and P5 she owns one similar to the P4G version.

P5!Naoto & Post P5!Naoto

Naoto has left her scooter to the Manor since she doesn’t need it that much in Tokyo and she’s afraid it’ll get stolen. When visiting Inaba and Shirogane Manor she uses it.

AA AU!Naoto

Due to the travel costs she leaves her blue scooter to Japan and isn’t redoing her license at first. Though, after hearing that her colleague/boss only has bicycle she decides to take the driver’s license for a motorcycle/scooter to be qualified to ACTUALLY drive one here. The one she buys after saving money has more build and more dark blue color. She double locks it when using and has so far managed to not let it get stolen.

…ok now I can’t unsee Naoto being like “Who are you to tell me what to do I’m going to Teleport with my Alakazam as much as I want” and confusing locals with her formal manner. Also occasionally flying to a Poke Center if she’s far enough despite locals being like ???? isn’t that unseen from her. (Especially in Alola she'd do that.)

P3 SEES Headcanons: Naoto’s Evoker and Evoker Data

Naoto was at first frightened to use the Evoker because it resembles a pistol from afar and she’s reminded of the crime shows she watched when she was younger. Since she knows about gun safety and guns in general - and knows how dangerous they are - the first emotion she gets is cautiousness and “Are you insane, that’s A GUN”.

She ensures that she doesn’t mix the Evoker and her handgun (New Nanbu 60) by tying a blue/silver ribbon to it. 

Bonus: if she starts dating anyone during P3 verse she changes that ribbon to a small charm/keychain they got from her SO or a ribbon which has their favorite color. (She’s usually not telling this directly since it’s a personal detail.)

If Naoto gets mixed up to other Shadow-related messes (f. ex during P4 and P5 events) her summoning method shocks others and usually they ask if she’s serious about shooting herself to the head. The usual reaction she has is to clarify that this is NOT a gun, only a device looking like one.

She keeps it in a separate case as a keepsake and only carries it when she knows there might be Persona-summoning or Shadows

Ace Attorney verse HCs: AA4 & Defense side!Naoto

Defense side!Naoto being like “NICE. You tell him Phoenix, you got the fire inside you and now it’s time to let it burn. Your name isn’t Phoenix over nothing, you can do miracles even after a break.” when he triumphs the first case. (Also, she glares at Kristoph in secret)

Naoto taking separate cases of her own when the WAA is out of order to upkeep her financial stability and help her boss if he ever needs help. her own rent comes first, though. She has a good apartment and she isn’t giving up on it easily.

Naoto (still) worrying over Phoenix during the second case and how he gets less hurt in the hit-and-run than she originally thought.

Naoto’s opinion on Apollo changing from “Wow, he had guts to punch mr. Phoenix. I don’t know what to think of that.” to “I like him and his style. He is a skilled individual.” as the cases go on. She likes him as a coworker and thinks he’s nice 

Naoto sympathizing with Apollo when he has no idea what to do and helping him the best she can (because let’s face it, Phoenix is too vague) and becoming a salty WAA Private Investigator

Naoto not knowing precisely all details why Phoenix changed and/or acts sometimes strangely towards Apollo and her - all she knew was that one of the pieces of evidence was a fraud and that the only one to logically blame was mr. Gavin - and being conflicted on some parts
