Well, you made it to town, Scotty! Time to check the area out...
Well, there’s plenty of new buildings...and new faces. I do plan on checking it out....
...but preferably without this little girl alerting everyone to my presence.
Some doodles I’ve done of Alden and his monsters.

“Can we really do this?”
“You kidding? I’ve taken down Heaven all by myself once! I can do it again! And I would!”

Some random Versille sketches. 10-14-19
Do you mean you feel like someone’s watching over you or just that someone is watching you... ?
Well, I’m glad it isn’t the former. That would mean something else entirely. However...
...I’m not sure what to make of the one who’s been seemingly following me this whole time. The way that plants seem to sprout and grow around them makes me think they’re some sort of sprite, spirit...something.
Whoever they are, they don’t seem to be hostile for now. But something about them just makes me feel...uneasy. Then again, I’m never sure what to make of silent, magical types.
Well, it's been a while since you were in Versille. Should you ask someone about the spirit, see if they know anything?
Well, I couldn’t ask anyone then and there. In a moment of curiosity or stupidity, I let it get closer.
It’s only now do I realize how creepy faceless visages are. I had no way of telling if it was just curious about me with no sense of personal space, or if it was looking to cook me up in a witch’s brew.
But eventually they let go, floating backwards before heading downwards, like it were a mermaid swimming in the air heading deeper underwater. In its wake, it left behind the visage of a giant pastel flower.
It’s definitely something I want to keep in mind as I make my way towards the town. Luckily, as winding and labyrinthine as the Outskirts is, I can still find my way around. I see light up ahead...and right away I can tell that there are silhouettes of buildings that I’ve never seen before.
A sketch of Alden, the monster collector.
