You know those guilty pleasures mini romance novels? The ones with insta-love and relationships that progress at super sonic speed, while including every conceivable cliche and trope? Well, I stumbled across the Cdrama version of that <3
There are these mini Cdramas described as 'vertically filmed' (since they are shot with a mobile phone camera) that squeeze in an entire plot somewhere between 1.5 and 3 hours.
The acting is pretty campy, the plot is often melodramatic/ over the top, the English subtitles are atrocious and the episodes are about 2 minutes long. They are SUPER enjoyable to watch, when one in the mood for the drama equivalent of junk food :P
The mini Cdrama titled 'Secret Love is Star Candy' is my favourite, since the ML looks remarkably like Byeon Woo Seok and the FL almost literally resembles a bunny rabbit (no wonder the ML is always tempted to pinch her cheeks!)

P. S. On a separate note: I learned that two actors (Bai Xin Yi & Zhu Yi Wei) have worked together in about 20-22 different such mini dramas and it's because they are a real-life couple! I find it ADORABLE that they choose to only romance each other in varied love stories <3 They get to cosplay diverse characters and get paid for flirting/ making out with their spouse! Talk about a dream job! XD
