I have a few decides of gaining a wide array of experiences. but what i really want to be when I grow up is be a public intellectual. I want what Hank Green or Noam Chomsky have where they could pose a question and just be able to talk with the leaders in those fields just BeCause. I want people to come to me with their questions about the tides of the future because I want to be known as having good takes on what will be happening Next. Or maybe good explanations for Why. We will see what is needed and it is what I want to train myself to be good at so i can be important in several decades.
I am playing the long game. Not sure what my craft will be. Could I try fiction? Journalism? Print or video? Do I follow this radio thing?
Really all I want is to get invited to the interesting parties with smart people who it is not very expensive to hang out with. If I can have good conversation with the people I see regularly life is going okay.
