I've been wondering how come Hastur didn't get to properly ambush Crowley in the theater in S1 once they realize they got the wrong boy, when he very much could have? He didn't physically appear in it, but instead ended up confined in the screen. I know this may be a reach, and it's just for comedic purposes, but it's honestly what allowed Crowley to escape

Season 2 kinda answered that, w establishing that Aziraphale can repel demonic entities from an earthly possession if he extends his angelic properties to it. Then I recalled this ask from Neil, and I speculated a lot abt it. Crowley mentioned he liked the theater, Aziraphale kept it around, extending his angelic properties to it, making it a safe haven, and that saved Crowley from Hastur appearing suddenly and attacking him, allowing Crowley to escape. It kinda makes me wonder if Crowley knew Aziraphale kept the theater around for him, or that it saved him. And it just boggles me bc Aziraphale saved Crowley's life 3 times that day and neither really realized it.

Extending his powers over the theater prevents Hastur catching Crowley offguard, the holy water kills Ligur and scares Hastur to let Crowley manipulate him, and Aziraphale calling his answering machine gives Crowley the idea and chance to trap Hastur there, allowing him to escape. Aziraphale just saved his life so many times and he wasn't even there physically.

And also, the fact Aziraphale has always given Crowley a safe place (well, safer, bc there's no truly safe place for either of them) to just breathe, to just be him, and without Hell breathing on his back. Like the bookshop if he wants company, the theater if he wants to be alone to contemplate his thoughts, and now, the Bently. It's not perfect, and his protection can only extend so far, and he wasn't always able to protect him, but if there's one thing Aziraphale has consistently done for Crowley since the Beginning, it was to give him shelter

Okay so maybe it is a reach, but it’s a very good reach is the thing. I read this and my whole brain lit up like !!!!! because holy crow headcanon accepted. It’s the sort of thing that I doubt we’ll ever get confirmation on but in the best way possible. Because it could totally be true. And I, for one, am absolutely obsessed with it. Hell, even if it was by accident, the act of Blessing it for Crowley making that little theater a safe space even as an unintended side effect is so Aziraphale to me. Because you’re absolutely right. I genuinely can’t believe I wrote that whole Bookshop meta and never used the word shelter in it because it’s spot on the thing Aziraphale keeps making - whether it’s a literal shop where they can be themselves or scenarios where Crowley can safely give into his impulses to do good and just ahhh. Thank you so much for this one - it’s gonna live in my head rent free.

trying to formulate a new headcanon for zack and having some trouble because i came up with 2 ideas (with help from @vctlan) that are both very funny and i don't know which one is funnier (therefore a better headcanon):

zack has a slight allergy to bananas and only bananas. he thinks they are spicy. when he joins SOLDIER and gets the mako juice, it cures his allergies. he thinks the mako made bananas taste weird (boring because they aren't spicy anymore).

jenova has a peanut allergy, and because of this, all of SOLDIER develops peanut allergies too. peanuts are banned in midgar entirely.
