okay so hear me out
its 6am and i was watching clips of IW (again) and i noticed how when Thor meets the Guardians he says something about knowing how to speak/understand Groot's language. But then, when Thor introduces Groot to Steve he says "This is my friend, Tree". So I was thinking... do you think that Groot literally means 'tree' in Groots language? now, i know how weird that sounds but throughout the whole movie, Thor call a Rocket a rabbit, maybe bc he doesnt know what a raccoon is??? so he mistakes him for a rabbit??? but he obviously knows what/who Groot is so how would he mistake him for a Tree??? (despite that's what groot literally is- a tree) Why not just introduce him as Groot?????
