A note and a small box containing lifegems and Poison moss was left in the Burrows for Mire, on the note said: "Dear Mire, i apologize for never really visiting. More and more important business has gotten my attention. Maybe i should pay a visit soon. Human matters and all that. Take this gift as an apology, yes? ~V" The note was Vesgar's handwriting, like the other notes that sometimes found their way in the underground burrow.

The parchment was set with their collection, precisely placed with all other letters they had received in recent times-- the stack was crooked, and leaning to one side, rather precarious upon a tome without a front cover. These gracious gifts were spread around among their kin, the lifegems taken between several sets of curious paws after the short meal of moss was consumed. Even the box was saved; Mire could find a use for it, no doubt.

They were glad to see that Sir Vesgar was seemingly well, or at least alive.
