Euh, for most ofAwakening Robin falls within the age range of a typical undergraduate studentand so I imagine that he spends most of the year living on a universityresidence hall. Due to his spotty sleeping schedule, and his preference tostudy alone, when applying for residence, Robin made a point of requesting asingle occupancy room. Even though he is generally a very neat and organizedindividual, when exams come around it isn't uncommon for Robin to let thingsslide.
The contrast in thestate of his room between lighter weeks and heavier ones during the school sessionis like night and day. During these high stress periods, a visitor may findrevision materials, texts, research journals, assignment drafts, and emptyenergy drink cans strewn about everywhere in a pell-mell fashion (but Robinwill insist that it isn't a mess at all but rather a form of "organizedchaos").
His design preferences tend tofavour function and practicality over appearance - so Robin would likely categorize his tastes under the area of: contemporary minimalism. Others may complain about his room coming off astoo cold, boring, or sterile...but Robin could never wrap his head around the purposeof investing so much time and energy into personalizing a temporary residence (suchas a university accommodation).
