(( I’d love to see Scarlet and Elle debate this, just for fun lol ))
-------------
Elle was on her knees, rummaging through a large cardboard box. The items within were untouched, dusty, and if it weren’t for the expanding size of her family tree, she probably wouldn’t have bothered with them at all. But Aelwynn was older now, and they were moving her into her own room, while trying to make room for the triplets.
She lifted an item from the box, a small vase from her travels in Pandaria and smiled at it, turning it slowly in her hands until Scarlet started giggling. The blonde was sat at another set of boxes, filtering through them for anything worth keeping, and as she laughed, those silver bells braided into her hair sang out merrily.
“What’s so funny, hm?” Elle asked, and the young priestess just grinned at her, holding up the picture of Elle’s ex.
“It’s a good thing Aelwynn takes after you huh?”
With a furrowed brow, Elle got up and walked over, taking the picture from her friend. “Be nice...” she sighed, looking over the image and tightening her jaw. She didn’t remember taking the photograph, but she must have, at one point. “He might not be conventionally handsome, but he’s not hideous by any means. He has a certain... characteristic charm, I think.”
“Charm??” Scarlet repeated, looking a little put out at the thought. “That’s not a word I woulda used to describe-”
“Yes. I know.” She looked over the picture again and sighed. “There were happy times though. He didn’t become wretched towards me until I tried to walk away. But then that’s always been my luck with men. Even Seridyn became fixated and obsessive the one time I tried to leave. I seem to draw out the best and the worst in the men I’m with, hm?”
Scarlet grimaced and looked down at the picture. “I guess he has a good body...”
“Mm. Yes. Would you like to keep the picture, Scarlet?” she teased, and laughed at the blonde’s horrified expression.
“Noooo no no no no. Quin would burn down the whole house if he found this!” She chuckled, but it wasn’t a huge exaggeration. Her fiance wasn’t known for being level-headed, even at the best of times.
“Well, it can’t stay here for much the same reason. Seridyn may not be a warlock anymore, but he retained the temperament of one. My rear would be sore for over a week!”
The two shared a laugh and then, with a deep sigh, she gingerly held the photo over the open flame of a nearby candle and watched the paper burn and curl and distort before finally dropping it into a metal wastebasket and going back to her cleaning.
👮♂️(for Elle) Has your muse ever had sex in public?
“You bloody well know I have and it was pleasurable in the moment but humiliating the next and is likely part of the reason we didn’t work. He was proud of himself, while I could not bear to be seen in Halfhill for weeks!”

“...Unsuitable. He’s gotten better, granted... but I will likely never get those memories from my head.”

“Ugly. I thought that would have been obvious...”

Not the usual humour stuff sorry
You know how The Elder Dragons are basically the ones regulating magic? How they balance it and everything. How killing the Dragons basically mean Tyria is digging their own grave?
Well, maybe not. Eventually, all the Elder Dragons are killed, by us or by future generations. But eventually, they’ll all die. Unless a new dragon that we don’t need to kill comes along to regulate all this magic, Tyria’s basically fucked. Except are we forgetting something? Yep, it’s Glint’s egg.
Glint’s egg is still an option, Glint’s offspring is the only feasible option left for Tyria to survive if it HAS to kill all the Elder Dragons. Which leads to the next idea, I don’t think we’re able to kill all the Elder Dragons in this one period, Glint’s offspring needs to at least hatch, and needs to grow. If we do end up killing all the dragons in this period of time, maybe the egg could somehow regulate magic, intense amounts of it, and survive, as an egg.
(But this is only assuming that these dragons can regulate magic, that dragons directly influenced by the Elder Dragons (not like Wyverns), their champions and in turn, their offsprings, can regulate and balance the intense, raw power of magic. If not, Tyria’s fucked.)
