It just occurred to me that none of you have any clue at all about my weird ass day-to-day postgrad life... How do I hint at this without doxxing myself.... okay basically I work on and off, meaning there are periods for 2-4 weeks where I'm insanely busy and deadass laboring from 6am to 10pm every day with like one day off a week, sometimes no day off. And then there are months where work dies out and I get to kick back and and do various side hustles/quests and "unemployed friend" type activities.

The latter is when I get all my writing done, and during the former I like barely even have time to cook and shower 😊🕺💥💥💥🤮!!!! 😝😝!!! Which is why this demo is active so sporadically and unpredictably.

Is it all worth it? More or less. Do I love my job? Basically. Is it fun? Admittedly. Does this absurd schedule inspire the fictional evil workplace depicted in the game? Definitely. I hope this is clarifying.

Hi Hello! 

Idk if anyone even noticed but I took a little hiatus from this blog with everything that’s been going on with Mingyu. I felt it was important to remain neutral until there was an updated statement from the company, so for me it seemed best to not post any content as this blog’s name is basically his name. There were also some raging anon asks in my inbox about the issue that I deleted so... yeah. It was a good thing to step away for a bit. Now that there’s been a more thorough statement translated by Pledis, I’ll slowly be back to posting just as sporadically and multi-fandomly as before. 

That bit aside-

I may take some requests if anyone’s interested bc obviously I haven’t made much content recently... if that’s something anyone would even want heh. Just send an ask. Otherwise I'll just be posting whatever hits the spot for me as usual 🙃

🤖I’m putting together a chapter interlude, which will be a very short little story switching perspectives & elaborating on the scope of the hero vs. villain conflict. It’ll also introduce our big bads, who we haven’t yet seen!

🤖After that comes chapter 2, which is when the reeeall branching begins. You’ll finally learn what exactly is up with Hyde, and you’ll get to start doing missions, which are the real meat of the game. Most following chapters will offer a choice between assorted supervillain shit to do- think heists, assassinations, brawls with various heroes, undercover assignments, all that good stuff.

🤖Whichever mission you don’t pick will not repeat in later chapters to increase replayability. I’m also hoping to let you choose who to take with you into the field, which can change the events and outcome. This’ll take a lot of words, but idgaf, worth it.

Fixed the hidden fight on floor four to work with the new combat system

Fixed a plot hole that involved you losing your key card and then miraculously having it again

I'm a very long ways away from adding a screenreader mode, which is a true bummer. I use a lot of special characters and visual elements, so it'll be a big job to go back in and make those accessible. It's still something I'm committed to eventually patching in before the final release!

Some of you guys may be curious about my recent absence!

Nothing tragic went down, I'm awesome actually. I like to remain pretty anonymous here, so all I can say is that sometimes you're presented with the opportunity to take a month traveling abroad and then you move (not abroad, to the other side of the city) and then you accept two new simultaneous jobs, and then you quit those jobs because they're terrible and get a new one. As you can imagine my unpaid time-consuming passion project was temporarily cucked. But I now have some time on my hands again! LFG
