Via Feratta Astragalus
Unforgettable adventure in Romanian Mountains🧗🏽♀️🌘
So, keep moving on, terus bergerak. Because at the end of the day, what's done is done. What's gone is gone. One of life's lessons is always moving on. Life is about accepting the challenges along the way, choosing to keep moving and savoring the journey. It’s okay to look back to see how far we've come but still, keep moving forward Cuma random tulisan biar cepet tidur, daripada kelupaan kebawa mimpi hehe. So here's the result, some of my point of views from via ferrata experienced 👌 #viaferatta #gunungparang #skywalker #rockclimbing (at Skywalker: Via Ferrata) https://www.instagram.com/p/CDOtOvlBxi4/?igshid=2rbcds9569gr

@holcombe.kathy has a new passion for exploring via-ferattas. We did a new one yesterday that ended in a WW2 gun port half way up a cliff. After climbing in the port there was a maze of hallways, stairs and chambers to explore. We then exited on the other side of the mountain through a bombed out opening. So much to explore in Europe. #famagogo #viaferatta (at France) https://www.instagram.com/p/B0N5tMKolhQ/?igshid=gulxh7qraabj

Le Moléson
Today was incredible! Back in Cressier exhausted but feeling supremely pleased with myself for conquering the infamous Northface of Moléson. It was my first ever experience with Via Feratta, which translates to ‘iron road’, and is essentially steel cables, rungs and pegs fixed into rock to form a path. François, Linda, Laura and myself headed off with our helmets and harnesses just after midday and made the 2002m summit just before 3pm where Ingrid met us with lunch.
The climb itself was breath taking. Incredible views combined with tough climbing, some sections of the path were completely vertical, whilst others had us zig-zagging up the face. There was also a number of small overhangs which put every muscle to good use!
The peak was well above the clouds so sadly we couldn’t appreciate the view but the sunshine and crisp fresh air were reward enough. We headed down to mid-mountain on the cable car and enjoyed a hot chocolate and some traditional Swiss music before returning home.
