Most of this is just a random assortment of doodles I've done but I have specific shit to say about the hair specific doodles that i'm gonna ramble about a little bit under the cut…. smiles!
FIRST OF ALL!!! MY BIZZYBOYS ARE BLACK!!!!!!!!!! They black. They are so fucking black. I could go off BUT LEMME FOCUS ON THE HAIR!!
The way the bizzyboyz came from the drain and had to work their way into society makes me think they had to assimilate in SOME way. The designs of the bizzyboys show that they have curly hangs but straight hair and how that kind of implies that they straightened their hair (ty to my friend clem for pointing that out to me).
Like of course there are people in the grove with curly hair, but much like real life if I keep these parallels, curly hair on a white person is much more acceptable than a black person. It's the fact that they are drainfolk and look the way they do is why they feel the need to straighten and assimilate to be accepted into the grove after Inspekta got elected for ascension.
I think Capo keeps his hair straight for the longest (Ban don't count. he just has naturally straight hair) and now his hair is slowly recovering from years of damage. And I was playing arounnddd with the idea of dreads on him cus I think that'd be really cool to have him go from leaning the most into assimilating and fitting in (owchie) to reclaiming his blackness and drainfolkness in a way that is still one of the most looked down upon hairstyles by white people. Especially the symbolism of how long that process will be for him but it's worth it to reclaim that part of himself.
Also Al has dreads post game cus I think he'd like it. YAHOO!
