It was one of those self contained booths, the ones that you have to book out, the ones that have sticky floors and shitty repurposed Christmas lights hanging around the television. She and Blake were half way through the worst rendition of “come on Elieen” that had probably ever been sang. But shit, they were giving it their absolute all.“Come on EileenToora loora toora loo rye aye“Vic was on her knees at this point, leather pants sticking to the floor, arms opened wide and face scrunched up as she belted out lyrics that were definitely wrong under the influence of so much Vodka she couldn’t see straight anymore. Blake was leaning back, double fisitng a microphone and swaying wildly on his feet. They looked like a fucking sight but at least they were having fun.“Oh my god-” the song drew to a close and Vic took his hand “-help me up.” He did as he was asked, hurling her to her feet as she laughed. “I’m going for a pee-” she pointed her finger into his face, her expression stern “-but i will be back in a moment. Pick something good or i will hurt you when i get back.” Vic pushed herself out of his arm and teetering toward the door on a pair of too high red bottoms, she left the room, still whistling along to the tune they had just sang.Vic joined the Queue at the toilets, more swaying than standing as she waited her turn. Finally, after what seemed like forever, she was next up and just about to enter the stall when some girl, barely 20, pushed in before her. “Hey, there’s a line here, haven’t you got any manners?” her speech was slurred and the girl just arched an eyebrow in response before scoffing, snorting a laugh and going to shut the door.
