I pictured Astrid and Max being engaged or married at this point ♥ this is the first time I’ve drawn her with a wedding ring. it has a sapphire gemstone. however, this isn’t where I pictured the proposal itself to be in; I imagined it to be during this artwork I drew a few years ago, which is still one of my faves: [ending scene] in Edgewater. 

the flowers can be actually be found in-game, though I changed the wall to be open sky instead of a rock wall. I took the screenshot from years ago and don’t recall the exact planet (not 100% sure, but I believe it might be on Monarch?) edit: they’re on Gorgon ♥ thank you for letting me know in the tags! 

ever since I saw it, I knew I wanted to do draw it. it’s so beautiful (the whole game is, really!) when you walk through it, it’s only then will the plants start to glow. I felt that the line from the song fit so well. “until you...” ♥

"Stranger” by Katie Costello is one of my fave songs from my fanmix, “as always, I’m at your disposal” , I stumbled across it by accident when Spotify just played it for me! since then I’ve always attributed it to them.
