After some time, Vice had messaged Poppy telling her that his work overseeing the security for the new area was over. As such, they had made plans to meet up and continue the search for Virizion once more. Poppy had prepared for the big day by doing some research and staying in a city that seemed to have the closest patterns to what matched the grassland legendaries normal tendencies. Giving Vice the address of the hotel she was staying at, they agreed to meet the next morning early.
Waking up before the first rays of the sun even shone in the sky, she had already packed up all her belongings and was checked out of the hotel by the first sign of the sun. Grabbing up some freebies from the continental breakfast for her, her Pokémon, and Vice, she headed outside and waited for him. After about half an hour, Poppy spotted him walking up towards the hotel and ran up to him with a smile, extending a small cinnamon bun and a packed fruit cup for them.
“Good morning,” announcing cheerfully before handing him the items. “I got you some breakfast before leaving. I hope you like cinnamon rolls and fruit.” That seemed like a good compromise from all the other options. “Anyway, we have a bit of a journey today and we’ll probably have to make camp somewhere in the woods but, it shouldn’t be too bad,” pulling out her phone now that her hands were free and checking a few things. “The weather looks clear so no chance of a sudden storm… yup, all looks good! You ready, Vice?”
