Happy 10 years Vicerylle, Hindi ko akalain na this tandem will reach a decade. I became a fan when I was in Highschool, 3 year highschool to be exact. Naalala ko pa noon na nakikinood ako ng TV sa canteen pag 12 :30 na sabi ko pa noon ok lang hindi ko mapanood ng buo ang It’s Showtime basta makita ko lang si Karylle and Vice Ganda. Yung tipong kahit mahal yung lunch sa canteen, bumibili ako para lang mapanood ko ang Showtime. Tas during school time lagi akong nakatingin sa phone ko nun kasi umaasa ako na merong ganap or small interaction between the both of them. Aminin ninyo Vicerylle Babies na mapadaplis lang yung kamay ni Vice kay Karylle sobrang tuwa na natin yung tipong tweet agad ng kung ano ano.
Naalala ko din yung mga new release songs ng Vicerylle that time na hahanap ng paraan ang mga Babies para lang ma link yung songs nila sa isa't-isa. For example yung Sayo na lang ako ni Karylle, grabe imagine sa twitter meron nag kalat na What if totoo nga na para kay Vice yung kanta, What if yun yung unspoken words ni Karylle kay Vice then try mong pakinggan yung song after those What If’s tweets.. Ibang-iba yung tama nung kanta haha.
Naalala ko din na nauso yung mga AU, one shots and stories sa Wattpad. Dun nakilala sila Tinkernathy, Pam, thestorymachine, Mareng_Mirriam and so many more na nag pangiti, nag patawa, nagpaiyak at nag pa inspire sa mga Vicerylle Babies that time, I myself became also a lowkey writer and I am thankful dun sa mga taong nag support saakin that time.
Most successful story nun sa Wattpad is yung Story ni Mareng Mirriam na My Beki Boss, Lahat ng babies alam yang story na yan, sa sobrang successful nung story napublish siya and soon napansin na din ng Vicerylle. To be honest, isa sa dahilan ang mga vicerylle writers and dahilan kung bakit mas nainlove ako sa Vicerylle. They helped me to widen my imagination and be contented on the fantasy they wrote kasi kahit balik baliktarin mo hindi mangyayari ang mga what ifs natin with the vicerylle.
Naalala ko din noon ang mga fans club, grabe ka solid. Yung tipong kahit saan magpunta sila Vice and Karylle ma-pa pilipinas man o ibang bansa, meron talagang representative. I myself is also a member of a known fansclub ng Vicerylle, yung fansclub na laging nasa GGV, yung tipong sa sobrang daming fans meron ng designated place for them. Thanks to Vice and Karylle makilala ako ng friends na kayang sumabay sa pagiging HOPIA ko sa tandem nila.
Naalala ko yung sleepless nights nung time na nagpakasal na si Karylle, masakit sa fan na nag shiship kay Vice and Karylle, pero we needed to face the facts na our What Ifs are not for the real word but only for our imaginations.
Last night (February 13, 2022) I woke up in the middle of the night when my phone rang, nag alarm pala for the decade anniversary of Vicerylle. And instantly, remember all those memories came flooding in, those sleepless nights dahil sa wattpad stories, those countless videos on Youtube and millions of tweets on twitter. Dun ko na pansin na kahit pala ilang years na ako nakalimot sa Vicerylle, yung Yellow Heart ko buhay and beating parin.
Marami pa akong gustong ishare tungkol sa mga magagandang memories with the Vicerylle Fam. Pero hanggang dito na lang muna siguro, VK Babies. I love you all. Happy isang dekada saatin 💛💛💛💛
