hi vicky from five hours ago ily. our beautiful shared dnf demons. OK SO. i think the most interesting part about dnf emotional cheating on their partners with each other is the fact that if we're looking at like the earlier-ish(?) dnf time period dream would just. not see it as cheating. it wouldnt even be a thought that crosses his mind. if any partner were to bring it up to him hed be like, ??? thats just george thats just my friend. and like obviously 2020/2021 dnf didnt have the emotional openness with each other as present day dnf do, so it would mostly just be We're Together Jokes and Tell Me You Love Me and it would be all haha funny but also this weird tension of not fully trusting each other and i do think they would be so abnormal about seeing the other get emotionally closer with someone else, Especially since its something dnf dont have with each other at that time. george would get Demons about dream telling all his thoughts to his partner instead of him. and dream would be like, man why do i feel Weird about george having a partner well actually im just annoyed A Very Normal Amount that my friend george is spending less time with me. thats all. obviously. but then i think over time as they learn to trust each other and be more open with each other is when things start to happen like dream getting good news and his first thought is "omg i need to tell george!" instead of his partner. like dream complaining about his partner to george, and talking about things he wish his partner would and wouldnt do (and not fully realizing that hes describing george. and thats the thing. its almost like george has set this standard for him and no matter how perfect the partner is it just wouldnt be enough bc it wouldnt be George). LIKE COMPARING GEORGE TO HIS PARTNER COUGH COUGH COMPARING YOUR BEST FRIEND TO OTHERS YOUVE DATED (like what the fuck those quizzes were soooo). dream preferring george's company over his partner's. dream sharing his thoughts more with george bc he feels seen and heard and understood by george. dream going to george to vent or for advice, bc even tho he has this appearance of hes all goofy, george is always able to care about him. but even then would dream even see it as cheating bc thats just how him and george Are.

🗽- do you think your character's story would fit into any other time period? if so, which?

Vicky: absolutely! Vicky is a fairly modern character for the time that she currently exists in anyways, so I could drop her into the middle of the 21st century no problem. Not the most interesting answer maybe, but considering she's a trans woman I'm sure as shit not sending her to the past lmao

Charlie: I think I could throw Charlie back in time a bit. I don't know exactly when if I'm being totally honest but maybe as far back as the Classical period before Christianity took over in Ireland. Charlie being a Celtic pagan druid would be severely cool actually. 🗡- what would it take for your character to go completely against their morals?

Vicky: I think if she lost anybody else at this point, she'd burn the fucking world down. She spent years feeling like she'd lost everything, got her brother back along with a new found family, and if anything happened to any of them again she'd just give up on society at large. Basically, if she has nobody left who loves her, then the rest of the world quickly becomes nothing more than meat.

Charlie: my sweet boy. I think his is like. the opposite? By which I mean, he'd forsake a lot of things if he thought it would keep his family safe. He'd hate himself for it afterwards, but he would try to rationalize it. "I had to, I couldn't lose you, you don't deserve that, etc etc"

📈 - what is your character's biggest motivator?

Vicky: love. were it not for that I don't think Vicky would have gotten involved in half the shit she's dealt with in her time. At first it was love for her dead friend and brother, then it was love for her partners, love for someone who couldn't love her back the same way, love for her brother again, love for the group of weirdos she'd traveled the country with. it's all love baby.

Charlie: he just wants to prove that he's good, that he is capable, and that he can be trusted with the power that he has. that's why he tries so hard to not hurt anyone when in reality, it would be so easy.

Today was such a wonderful, lovely, perfect day. 🥰 I finally got to meet one of my best friends in the whole world, and we spent the whole day together at the zoo and walking around the city. 🩵
