“So, here I was, telling off James and his gang. And then the kid goes on to tell me that I was acting like his old man. Like...really, where do the kids get it from? I’m writing Harry a letter detailing James’ insubordination....” Teddy should have known better than eat away precious time with Victoire between classes with his Head Boy frustrations, but he couldn’t help it. Being in charge was hard, and somehow...Victoire was always so good at bringing him down from his moods.
He was lying on her lap, in the common room, his hair coming back to it’s regular turquoise hues from the bright red it had become to match his face. Maybe Vicky wouldn’t notice the pink that nested in between, a side effect of being in love with Victoire Weasley, along with sweaty palms and the inability to talk in straight sentences.
“That was my day so far. And we still have lunch. What about yours? Did something interesting happen?”
