Uncharted (2022)
Street-smart Nathan Drake, is recruited by seasoned treasure hunter, Victor "Sully" Sullivan, to recover a fortune amassed by Ferdinand Magellan, and lost 500 years ago by the House of Moncada.
This is a fun, easy going, adventure film. The trailer tells you what the film will be about, I was looking for some mindless action and something adventurous and not gory and this one delivered. I really enjoyed it. If you will go expecting something serious, something thought provoking, then you will be disappointed, but if you want to watch something lighthearted with an exotic treasure hunt thrown in, then you will enjoy it.
I think Tom Holland is such a likeable actor and he has a charm about him and he had excellent on-screen chemistry with Mark Whalberg. The bromance was great. His juggling behind the bar kind of made me think that if they ever did a remake of ‘Cocktail’ then perhaps he could star in it?
It’s also a great film if you want to watching something as a family.
