When shade and the others initially managed to break out of the penguin enclosure at the zoo they first ran into someone who had helped dan way back when. Viero is confused but is getting a huge sense of deja vu from this situation

Riki absolutely loves these two to death and it's very obvious in the fact that he will always talk about them after he's hung out with them!

And i ended up drawing 3 out of the 5 friends dan made on his adventure!

Abella, a a chamois that dan met when he was in france, basically a wild goat and she saved him from getting absolutely messed up by a lynx.

Viero, a white stork whom helped dan through spain since he trekked all the way there. Only leaving him when he finally made it to the Mediterranean sea so he could swim out into the Atlantic.

And finally

Teal! A magellanic penguin! Who was one of the last of the friends dan made on his adventure. He let him stay around for a while to gather strength and energy for the final mad dash towards club penguin since he was the one who told him about the place!
