"Bot ngot"
The fountain is pumping popular sweat-chilli Vietnamese sauce, often found in big pitchers in Pol-Viet bars, usually available in unlimited amounts. In culturally monolithic Poland, Vietnamese are one of the biggest minorities, gaining the tolerance of the natives through their exotic gastronomy. Huge amounts of monosodium glutamate crystals found in the sauce, boosts the increase of empathy of polish consumers to the Vietnamese.
Work realized for F4K in Łódź as a part of exhibition “Owoce wszystkich drzew” curated by Katarzyna Stańczak and Joanna Szumacher.
