yeah x_X it was a month between “hey we wanna work with you” and “here is your offer letter” so that didnt help but I wanted to give my current place ample time.

they just hired two people today so that’s good for them - the only have one open spot they’ll be trying to fill.

I’m kinda wishing I had given myself a little more time. But If I have to skedaddle whats what I have to do, I guess. the nice part is thats gonna give me a whole week to settle in on the other side and my stuff will be there and I’ll have my own bed and wont have to be on an air mattress or sleep in a hotel.

You're missing the artifact spell but otherwise that's it! Oh but I guess all the artifact talents that lower the cooldowns and buff the spells are significant. I enjoy Disc for leveling because you can take on elites and packs of mob easily, whereas Shadow is fragile and Holy requires you to periodically stop attacking to heal yourself, but maybe as Disc is right now it's no fun at lower levels without the artifact :( that's too bad :(

Boo! I was kinda hoping I was missing something other than the artifact kit abilities. guess I’ll just have to suck it up with heron disc or drink the void-tainted koolaid and learn to endure shadow’s gameplay until I am into  Legion content :(

Leveling as Disc though, you simply never take damage ^^

But it’s sooooooooooooo slooooooooooooooooooow. am I missing something? I have one channel with a super long cooldown of like 20 seconds (It’s that spiral attack thing) and then a 3 second cast attack. and then some sort of debuff that does a pittance of damage and has a 10 second cooldown and a 1-min cooldown to summon some sort of shadow thing that lasts for 5 seconds? And thats my kit?

I can do a lot of healing! but at lvl 91 and going solo that doesn’t actually do me any good for going through levelup content. 

When I was messing around with it the other night it was reminding me of why I couldn’t play a paladin beyond lvl 10 for almost a decade. (seriously. 26 levels of autoattack, passive abilities and buffs that do nothing to speed combat along. paladin is in a way better shape now. you actually get buttons to push!)

I wish you would write a fic explaining how Anduin's cane from Pandaria came to be in the Priests' order hall. (I can't link a picture but yep, it's there)

Oh gosh I did not know this! I haven’t been able to find any pics of it either. Was his cane specially made or a story point in Pandaria? If not I can think that maybe once Anduin was well, he handed it back to his healer, or possibly Velen as a “Look. I can stand on my own.”

Maybe he did that after Broken Shore at his Father’s funeral.

Maybe he did it after seeing Velen again and hearing about Velen’s son and Velen’s crisis of Faith. Potentially this could be a reminder of “look. It’s crappy. It looks bad. have faith and it will be okay.”

except all that seems far more IC for Anduin after he goes to visit the broken shore in person and it seems like velen and genn were allowing/enabling him to be a bit remote and coddled (until he got over it himself and was like “no dudes, I have to get my shit together,”

Both Annoyed an I are in the same boat and D knows they’re really changing us around so I know we’ll have a grace period to make it work or change spec. I’ve contemplated Swapping zalless over and making her Arcane but that’s an option of last resort. :)

The impression I got is that you like your work and you're proud of what you do. You list many arguments against changing jobs but none in favor. Still, unless your current workplace hears about it, you have nothing to lose from applying and making a decision if you do get the job. ^^

Against boils down to “change is scary”

pros are: Larger company, More prestigious company, Company has more resources, company is apparently as stable as my current workplace, Job openings that I am qualified for are open less often, potentially more money.

I’m pinging one of my contacts there to see what he thinks of the culture. That said I could survive anywhere for two years and I would be leaving my current place on good terms and multiple people have returned but that is not a given.

but man. LA. :(
