On July 17th, 1928, Jazz pianist, bandleader and composer Vince Guaraldi was born in San Francisco, CA. Guaraldi is noted for writing the music and arrangements for the animated Peanuts television specials and films, including the signature “Linus & Lucy". His nickname was Dr. Funk.
