Vinnytsia by Volodymyr Biliak, 1965
Our children don't have to live through the experience of war and loss but 'cause of Russia, they grow up so fast
Snowy road in Slavne, Vinnytsia Oblast, Ukraine.
10th December 2017
Ben came all the way to Ukraine from Florida, United States when he heard of Russia's full-scale invasion. He was so determined to help, he even spent time learning Ukrainian for a year. This helped him better understand the tasks he needed to perform at the forge he works at where he helps to make staples for Ukraine's army.

Birthplace of Mykhailo Kotsiubynsky in Vinnytsia, Ukraine
Vinnytsia now (July 14, 2022)
Several hits of russian missiles right in the center of the city. At the moment, it is known about 6 wounded and 2 dead, including one baby. (update: 20 dead, including 3 children, and many more wounded)
This is one of the central squares and the crossroad of the busiest streets of the city. Mid-day.
We rented an apartment near this square every time we visited Vinnytsia to take exams at our uni. I can't express how crowded it's usually there. There are bus and tram stops, shops, a lot of traffic...
And here is what pro-russian sources write about this terrorist attack:
"Cruise missiles flew to the target. We are waiting for details."
Russian propagandist Solovyov uploads a video from Vinnytsia and writes about it: "The military unit in Haisyn was hit, Vinnytsia region"
When it is clearly Vinnytsia city, not Haisyn. And downtown, not a military base. They don't even try to lie convincingly.
Later, when the scale of the tragedy is revealed, they will probably say that russia has nothing to do with it.
