Today I started work on a rather substantial customer commission and the main colour is Café au Lait which I have fallen in love with all over again! It really is a wonderful milky coffee colour and lends itself to contemporary furniture as well as more traditional or period pieces. Finishing off a slightly more opulent project which has these gorgeous handles and I'm jazzing them up with Vintro Metallic Gold Paint. This wonderful antique blanket box belonged to a customer's grandfather. It's solid as a rock and in excellent condition but needed brightening up to suit her home. So that's what we did! Not the most exciting of pictures but this is how a teak and brushed metal TV cabinet looks painted in Cloudburst by Vintro Chalk Paint. The dated look has gone with the paint easily covering all parts of the unit, so that you wouldn't even know the naff metal bits were there!
