A method for identifying the quality of PVC adhesive vinyl
Method One: A good PVC adhesive vinyl roll should exhibit excellent heat insulation. While this isn't visible on the surface or discernible by touch, a simple test involves wrapping the vinyl around a light bulb. When the bulb is turned on, check if it feels excessively hot to the touch. If so, it's not of good quality.
Method Two: Tear the PVC adhesive vinyl roll by hand and then reapply it with the backing material. If many bubbles form in between and the vinyl appears wrinkled, it's likely of poor quality. Conversely, if it remains smooth without bubbles, it's of high quality.
Method Three: A high-quality PVC adhesive vinyl roll should maintain excellent clarity under light. Regardless of the color of the film, it should remain clear from a distance of at least 6 meters at night. If the vinyl appears blurry, it's likely of inferior quality.
Method Four: Long-lasting color retention is a hallmark of high-quality PVC adhesive vinyl rolls. They should exhibit good compatibility with ink, with no white spots or ink spread on the surface. Additionally, they should retain their color for extended periods outdoors and withstand external forces without color loss. Conversely, poor-quality rolls exhibit the opposite characteristics.
Method Five: The quality of a PVC adhesive vinyl roll can also be felt by hand. A good roll should have a soft texture, a smooth and sturdy surface, and should be free from wrinkles. In contrast, poor-quality rolls often feel wrinkled and have a brittle surface texture.
