Weezer : Dusty Gems and Raw Nuggets (#rsd2019) This is the era where I originally discovered Weezer, so I had to pick up this Record Store Day exclusive. Limited to 4,000 copies, this compilation was originally released as disc 2 on the deluxe edition double cd, but was never released on vinyl until now. Green Day Live! Woodstock 1994 (#RSD2019) This was a slightly tougher find for me on Saturday, but by the 4th store I finally found a copy. (Thanks @neurotica3). most of the stores I visited only got a small handful of copies. The Woodstock 94 era or the Dookie era was the Green Day I grew up with. I still remember watching their performance on tv and watching the mud being thrown all over the place. It was fascinating. In terms of their music, I was knee deep into “alternative” music at the time, their songs were catchy, especially those bass lines and tbh I had a huge crush on Billie Joe Armstrong.
