Another au concept;

Silksong but it's literally haunted

(Aka Hornet's past comes back to haunt her)

Basically, it's where she's kinda dogged by shade GV, who is both a ghost and shade and just invis to anyone (mostly) except Hornet, and refuses to shut up for longer than a few seconds

(This can be commentating on her fighting, usually taunting, mentioning literally anything, pointing out Hornet is taking forever to get somewhere (like climbing Blasted Steps or smth), etc.)

Mentally sorting through vessel facts and just wanted to plonk a few here for those of you who might like them.

Putting under a read more cause this is long + covers sensitive topics

Most of them;

- have a variant of separation anxiety, which can spiral into things like depression or even self-destructive tendencies

- will try and gravitate to finding someone who's trustworthy and also capable of caring for them (which does include other vessels, as long as the one on the receiving end is suitable for both themselves and the other who wishes to stick to them like glue)

- can and/or will stick to that someone as well as be loyal to the point of putting their life on the line for the someone of their choice

While oddities;

- are generally antisocial and do not try and find someone

- usually aren't as utterly determined as the others

- are oddly more dangerously loyal if they happen to choose someone

- possibly have residual, somewhat vestigial parts that usually wouldn't exist and/or cannot be used due to location & biology

All of them;

- can act like weirdly shaped land flounders

-burrow (wyrm genetics kick in with fight/flight response)

- have paws (usually with grippy toe beans!)

- have a similar body build (very few exceptions/outliers)

- have an incredibly sensitive sense of smell, hearing, and sight

- are (mostly) light & loud noise sensitive (this can be forced out though)
