what’s barley like in this?
His family was wrapped up in Bloodclan dogma, fully embracing the 'blood' part of it. He just loves hunting!
He is happy in his barn, still going to visit Violet and Fuzz, and their kits.
He and Ravenpaw were happy for many long seasons before Ravenpaw passed on. Barley was also offered a place in Thunderclan (or Riverclan by a thirsty Shadepelt girl pLEASE) when the Clans leave the Forest but he politely said no, other cats may need him.
He also has personal beef with some Bloodclan cats. Chris and Leon, 2 brothers, who were kittypets that ditched their owners and joined when they were all young. He also puts up a hard fight against Neo Bloodclan, the only reason they get defeated is Snake manages to almost kill Ravenpaw. Barley concedes just to keep him safe, before going to the Clans and asking for some assistance.
Nowadays?
Ravenpaw has passed on, waiting for Barley to join him. He is an old man now, still visiting his sister and her elderly mate (and still explaining to him, no, my name is not Err- Barley) and chatting with Patch and Lulu. He has also fed stories of the forest to Monkeystar when she was little, helping inadvertently create the new Warriorclan.
He's happy, and he's doing okay. He has no idea that he has a place waiting for him in Starclan, for all he has done to help the Clans.
