Drawtober 30: (Sharp) Teeth

The water is so dense that moving feels like flowing, just as water does in places that are not the endless void beneath the waves, beneath the sunlight before the density of depth washes everything to dappled grey.

It swims and twists the fins that ripple it to movement.

It presses its tongue behind its teeth (so many teeth).

The stuff of nightmares.

The glinting shards of bone that could be glass if not for the way they sink into the maw of endless blackness.

The light casts contrast that it cannot see.

It feels the movement in its teeth.
