Lt Gen Virendra Vats assumed charge as the DG of the National Cadet Corps (NCC)
Lieutenant General Virendra Vats assumed charge as the Director General of the National Cadet Corps (NCC). Lieutenant General Vats was commissioned into the 19 KUMAON Regiment of the Indian Army in December 1988 and served as the Commandant at the Defence Services Staff College in Wellington. He will succeed Lieutenant General Gurbirpal Singh.
