In case its not obvious, this is toxic scoutpauling. This piece is practically a visual representation of their relationship. Before this whole mvm war, Virgil adored and admired Miss Pauling, till this day he still admires her. He loved everything about her, from the way she looks to her mannerism. Fact that she was one of the only few woman working at the place made him feel more safe cause at least he’d have someone to relate and talk too. His admiration was more of an obsession at a point, he depended on her. Flo, was already overworked as a person working under administrator. With the countless jobs and contracts to juggle and keep track of she was stressing enough. She wasn’t known as much as a violent person physically but she can lash out sometimes… though with her frequent visits with the Blu team, seeing how rough and sadistic they are too eachother and to Virgil, it almost influences her. Virgil at the time loved talking to her, annoying her, just spending so much time with her, but at some times she’d reach her breaking point and snap at him, yelling at him and getting physically violent. By the end, she’d regret only to find out he enjoys it…? She realizes he doesn’t care what she’d do to him as long as they can stay close, with the fact that she knew he was obsessed with her, she used it to her advantage. In return, he’d do the same but it rarely happens, he’s thriving too much to get upset with her.
