Propane and natural gas are different systems. Different pressures, different fittings, different regulators. A contractor experienced in natural gas is not automatically qualified for propane work.
A legitimate quote has 5 things: pipe run and material, fittings and valves, permit fee, pressure test, and labour. A single lump sum with no breakdown is a red flag.
