Fun fact regarding the movie: it is often compared to Black Swan, and there are indeed a lot of similarities. So if you liked Black Swan, you should check out Perfect Blue.
One of the many things I absolutely loved about Perfect Blue was the music. It's just so hauntingly beautiful.
If you haven't seen the movie, I highly recommend it.
