Capitol Hill Ocean Week (CHOW), hosted by the National Marine Sanctuary Foundation, gathers people together from across the U.S. and around the world to engage in a dialogue on how to sustain the health of our ocean and Great Lakes.

This year, on June 8-10th, the conference will focus on building a more racially equitable and just movement for ocean and Great Lakes conservation. CHOW is open to the public and free to attendees.

The organization behind Costume College, Costumer’s Guild West, Inc. (CGW), is getting a website makeover! You may be wondering ‘How does this affect me if I’m not a member and only attend Costume College?” The answer is that starting in 2021, registration for Costume College will go through our new CGW website as the new website will handle event registration (including Costume College) and is linked to our membership data management system. All attendees must have a new account with CGW in order to register for Costume College. (You do not need to be a member of CGW to create an account.) We expect to have the new website up shortly and open registration to Costume College 2021 before the end of May. Costume College 2021: Caught on Camera

Reminder: Send us your "Caught on Camera" Photos! As we are Virtual this year we are creating a couple videos for Costume College 2021 and need your help!

Submission Deadline extended to June 30, 2021!

How to Participate: If you would like your photo (individual, guild or group) to be included in this year’s video, please e-mail photos to [email protected] before Tuesday, June 30, 2021.

Also include a short description (no more than a paragraph) along with your photo.

Costume College 2021 Update: Registration will open on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at 9am PDT!

New this year:

~ALL classes are selected at the time of registration. Please read the Registration Book BEFORE registering for Costume College 2021.

~Due to our virtual format and an effort to provide flexibility to attendees we are offering three Registration Packages. Individual Workshop classes can be added to any of the packages. Pricing information is now available on our website! http://www.costumecollege.net/register/

As we are Virtual this year, instead of the regular "Caught on Camera" photo exhibit I am creating a couple videos for Costume College 2021 and need your help! Please share your past Costume College Memories with us!

CGW presents “Costume College 2021 Goes Virtual”: Registration Update

Join us for three days of sharing our love of learning about all things costuming.

Friday, July 30 - Sunday, August 1, 2021

Costume College 2021 will offer 36 different lectures and workshops all on-line. There will be four (4) tracks of classes each day. Two (2) tracks of lecture classes starting at 9am, 11am, 1pm and 3pm each day; and two (2) tracks of workshop classes starting at 9am and 1pm each day. In addition to classes, we will be offering a variety of activities in our virtual Lounge. Look for the Costume College 2021 Registration book with class details and schedule along with the schedule of Lounge activities to be posted on the Costume College website later this month. www.costumecollege.net
