Ian scurried up The Spines pants cuff, the titanic titanium alloy bot chuckling as he reached his knee and readied himself for another flight.
They'd spent the afternoon with The Spine serving as a makeshift playset and Ian was currently using his knee as a launching pad to further practice his gliding The bot keeping his leg half extended because with his knee all the way up it was far too high to be safe and Ian got upset with it being too low if he just left them resting straight in front of him.
"Chree?"
"Yes I'm watching go ahead." He chuckled back in his now even more booming voice.
Ian puffed up proudly, wriggled, and launched himself from the fabriced surface.
It was a good glide, he kept his wings at just the right angle and went farther then any previous attempt, even catching a slight breeze successfully to push him farther.
The Spine grinned as he hit and rolled, he was getting so good but he still couldn't land. But he was such a fast learner he'd pick it up quick.
That smile quickly turned to a frown though as Ian's tumble brought him right through a portal that snapped back out of existence behind him
"Ian?!"
